The Impact Of A Cancer Diagnosis
A cancer diagnosis transforms life entirely. It marks the start of an unexpected journey for both patients and their families.
The Financial Burden Of Treatment
While ongoing advances are leading patients to better outcomes and longer lives, the demands of cancer treatment can often result in financial hardship.
Support Merced Cancer Society Foundation
The Merced Cancer Society Foundation (MCSF) provides financial assistance to adults in need while undergoing cancer treatments in the Central Valley. We help pay for essential expenses, such as food, gas cards, utility bills, and other costs related to treatments, allowing patients to focus on what really matters—fighting cancer.
Our Mission and Impact
Established in 2013 by Dr. Alireza Mahmoudieh, the owner of El Portal Cancer Centers, the MCS Foundation was created to address the unique financial challenges faced by cancer patients. To date, the foundation has awarded thousands of dollars in grants to support these patients.
Your Donation Makes a Difference
All of the overhead expenses required to operate the Foundation are covered by Dr. Mahmoudieh and El Portal Cancer Centers—ensuring that 100% of your donation goes directly to help those in need. Join MCSF in Supporting Cancer Patients
